Ascent Team Practice

What is at the end of the trail?  This week we will start at the end and travel to the tunnel (and back).  It's a rocky and tricky terrain!  Bring your walking sticks, wear sneaker/hiking boots!

The trailhead is on the opposite side of Monterey.  Please click here for directions. The start of the trail is at the end of Benevides Ave. You can park along this road or out on El Centro Ave; just be respectful of the residents.

Axe throwing is a unique way to develop proprioception, gross motor development and hand-eye coordination are useful skills to develop and a fun way to end the season. Come hit the bullseye today developing a new (old) skill. It will be an important skill set for the zombie apocalypse for sure!

The act of smashing objects can be a powerful way to express and release a range of emotions, including frustration, sadness, and even joy! Fall climate calls us north to the water this year for our Annual Brown Girls Climbing Campout+Climb. 3-Day Annual Team Campout+Climb on the beach at 
Navarro River Redwoods State Park has the perfect terrain for everyone! Water, rock climbing, kayaking, stand up paddlboarding, camping and freedom to explore! 

Travel north to beautiful Mendocino Coast and join us for clear nights under the stars.

Confirmation is required to attend on/before Monday, Sept. 8  
More information will follow.

$45 p/person

Ages 10+ unaccompanied

min 10 participants (due to distance) back up date: 10/23-25

•    Bathing suit under clothes to practice.  If participant is planning to use a wetsuit, limit frilly suits.  
•    Rash guards are great for cover up and protection. 
•    Aqua socks or strap back sandals are recommended.  
•    Sunscreen/hat

Bring-    
•    Water bottle (strap or carabiner is highly recommended)
•    Towel
•    Change of dry clothes

Parents: Arrive early if changing before practice is not feasible. Bathrooms are across from the corner of the SUP shop. Participants should use the bathroom, apply sunscreen and have bathing suits on prior to the start of practice. 

The shop is small, please do not bottleneck during transition. 
We work together to clean up and put away equipment. Please allow for transition time before and after practice. Allow for +10 mins clean up/changing at the end of practice.
