Let’s cool down on the water. It’s not just a fun morning on the water, practice today is a concentrated cross training focus on proprioception, upper body gross motor, and balance.
Wear-
• Bathing suit under clothes to practice. If participant is planning to use a wetsuit, limit frilly suits.
• Rash guards are great for cover up and protection.
• Aqua socks or strap back sandals are recommended.
• Sunscreen/hat
Bring-
• Water bottle (strap or carabiner is highly recommended)
• Towel
• Change of dry clothes
Parents: Arrive early if changing before class is not feasible. Bathrooms are across from the corner of the SUP shop. Participants should use the bathroom, apply sunscreen and have bathing suits on prior to the start of class. The shop is small, please do not bottleneck during transition.
We work together to clean up and put away equipment. Please allow for transition time before and after class. Allow for +10 mins clean up/changing at the end of practice.

What’SUP Class?!! Let’s end the fall water module with the the fun challenge of Standup / sit down paddle board!

Goblins, Ghouls, and vegan candy?! Welcome to the first Wednesday course of Homeschool Rocks Adventure Course! Today we are bravely exploring the urban legend of the ghost in Joaquin Miller Park. If the fog is right, we may catch a glimpse of her on our 3mi hike.
Wear sneakers/hiking boots only
Bring water, snacks.

From Hwy. 13 in Oakland, exit Joaquin Miller Rd./Lincoln Ave. Take Joaquin Miller Rd. for 1 mile and turn left on Sanborn Dr. Park near the Joaquin Miller Park ranger station. Walk 100 feet past the yellow gate and turn right on the trail pointing “To Sunset Trail.” Veer left onto the Sunset Trail (not Sunset Loop Trail) to begin the hike.

It’s finally warming up! Let’s return to the water with friends over at Seatrek! Today we are kayaking after a ground stroke school review water entry/exit and clean up we will paddle in the lagoon to learn Oakland donuts and paddling backwards!

Park Day Training! This exciting training day explores the best of training in a park in the middle of the Redwoods! Today we explore more nature survival skills, dab a little in nature art. After Outdoor Immersion Academy, we will jump over to the playground for ultimate teambuilding fun!!
Meet in the upper parking lot. Parents dropping off, make sure to let the kiosk agent know!
