Financial Support Request
We know what it means to want to join in and not have the financial means to do so. As parents, we often have to compromise quality culturally appropriate programs for city services. Coach Emily Taylor started the vision of providing for her intersectional Black, Queer and Ability Different communities 30 years ago and through tremendous pioneering in the climbing and adventure industries, she’s finally in a position to advocate for equitable access to the outdoors and adventure from interested equity and adventure partners. We use all additional funds for financial support scholarships for program participants in need.
We do ask for minimal operational support if it can be afforded it upon a time line. Outside of that, we try to support anyone who needs it and we never turn participants away for a lack of funds.
We ask participants to support our programs, paying what they can and provide flexible pay plans for those who just need a little more time to make the financial commitment work.
