Location: Arthaus Building
Park on street or in the lot. Note: the lot is gated after 6p and will open upon exit. The gym bay doors are open. Enter the gym through the bay doors.

5:15p Ground School Class for first timers
5:30p Let’s Paddle!
What to wear > A bathing suit. Arrive to practice wearing your bathing suit UNDER your clothes. If you don’t have a bathing suit, anything form fitting that you don’t mind getting wet will work fine. Shorts and a tank top or sports bra will do. Wetsuits, PFDs, paddles and boards provided
What to bring >Towel(s), beach shoes/sandals, water bottle, change of clothes, dry bag for wet clothes, post paddle nourishment. It’s safe to leave things in your car or leave them in the cubbies at the shop.

Location: 1120 Ballena Blvd #200, Alameda, CA 94501
Meeting Location: Mike’s Paddle Shop
After you take a left or right on Ballena Blvd, you will cross a small bridge and drive on to Ballena Isles - which is a small island off of Alameda Island. On your right will be fantastic city views and the Alameda Rock Wall. On the left are office buildings that are part of the Ballena Isle Marina. Keep driving past the first parking lot in front of Pier 29 restaurant. After you pass Abigails Cafe, there’s a second parking lot, you will park there. If you go past the round-about with the American Flag pole you’ve gone too far.
You can park in the parking lot closer to water. You’ll see docks and paddle boards on the water. After getting out of your car, walk towards the building 1120 Ballena Blvd which is right on the water, the shop is in the building.
